The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand has awarded the first Premium Partner certification for conversions in the Czech Republic. API CZ is renowned for its specialization in customizing Volkswagen Caddy and Caddy Maxi vehicles to accommodate wheelchair accessibility. Following a rigorous assessment of their production processes, the certification solidifies the exceptional quality of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ conversions carried out at API CZ workshops.

We are proudly a Ford Pro Converter. The Ford Pro™ Convertor Programme recognises premium convertors across Europe, specialising in multiple and diverse conversions to suit all customer requirements. The Ford Pro™ Convertor program is the new upfitter accreditation program, formerly known as Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM). This program forms a foundation from which Ford can work more closely with Convertors to deliver high-quality conversions to Customers.

This is a recognition of our ongoing commitment to excellence, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to global automotive quality standards. This milestone reflects our dedication to meeting and exceeding the expectations of one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. Achieving Level 3 means our systems, processes, and production standards have been thoroughly evaluated and found to comply with Stellantis’s rigorous supplier quality requirements.

We are in contact with OEM’s

For vehicle manufacturers without a dedicated modification programs for converters, we actively engage in open communication by sharing our conversion process for review with the vehicle manufacturers, after which we are issued a Letter of No Objection (LONO) for our FlexiRamp Conversion. We have received LONOs from manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and Stellantis (covering Peugeot, Citroën, & Opel). This ensures that our vehicle conversions not only meet but exceed industry safety standards.

The Horizontal Transport Solution

WALDSPURGER have been rebuilding vehicles for the Swiss market since 1978 and it is a family run business currently going through its third generation. They are one of the biggest players on the Swiss market specializing in Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) as well as passenger transportation including school buses, minibuses, and single seat installations. Our cooperation with WALDSPURGER started in 2015 with the distribution of the FlexiRamp in Switzerland.

For thirteen years, there has been a successful cooperation with API Deutschland GmbH, which is the market leader in Europe with the FlexiRamp wheelchair ramp. This cooperation has successfully driven special vehicle construction in the past. The development from the original five to the 350 converted vehicles sold today per year is immense. In terms of volume, this makes ACTIVA the largest API partner on the European continent.
