Seat Transfer Solutions
Carony® Classic
The car seat that transforms into a wheelchair has been one of the flagship products for nearly 30 years. A caregiver swivels the seated user out of the car and docks the Carony chassis. The entire seat then easily slides onto the chassis and becomes a standard wheelchair. Going into the car is the same simple procedure in reverse.
Turny® Swivel Seat
When transferring from a wheelchair to a vehicle, having a car seat on a swivel base outside makes a great difference. With the Turny® Manual, you can easily rotate the seat towards the car’s door and move it over the sill and through the door. The Turny® Manual is a hand-operated swivel base designed for today’s cars. Thanks to its unique movement capabilities, it provides more space – and it gives you a more comfortable riding experience.
Turnout Swivel Seat
To make transferring to and from a wheelchair easier, the Turnout enables you to rotate the car’s seat so the front extends slightly over the sill. This makes the transfer shorter in distance and less complicated to perform. The Turnout is available both as a hand-operated and powered swivel base. Compared to lowered floor solutions, a swivel base lets you choose from many more car brands and models. Yet, no matter how good a car fits with the Turnout the combination has to work for you.
Vertically Adjustable Seat
This system is useful in the following cases: (a)The driver or passenger needs help when getting out of the car. (b) The driver sets the seat to the required level to get in the car and then will adjust the seat to a comfortable height for driving. (c) A wheelchair person adjusts the seat to the height comfortable for him to transfer to the car seat. This mechanism is fitted between the car seat and the floor. The seat can be slide to the front and back either manually or electrically.
